Get All AIP encrypted files - SharePoint Online

One of the recent project merger and acquisition.  Technology - M365 tenant to Tenant migration Areas of consolidation 1. Mailboxes  2. SharePoint online data 3. OneDrive for Business data 4. Teams data migration 5. Security and Compliance Migration  Area of concern from security and compliance side was the encrypted files within EXO, SPO, Teams, ODB. Issue with encrypted data migration - end users will not be able to access the documents once the Source tenant is decommissioned.   Solution available -  Ask end users to unencrypt the data before migration  Alternet Solution - 1. Decrypt the files, mails using eDiscovery - This will give us output in PST format will is available for offline access, but the data in source will still be encrypted.  Decryption in eDiscovery - Microsoft Purview (compliance) | Microsoft Docs   2. Use Get-AIPfileLabel and Get-AIPFileLabel but in order to use this you must be aware of all the files paths.  Challenges -  1. We do not want end user intervention

long path files cannot be synced in OneDrive for business.

If your user is having sync issue causing by file path, you can ask him to shorten the file name or move the file to outer layer, as we do have sync limitation for files which file path is longer than 256 characters. Office 2013 users are getting PoP up to upgrade to office 2016

Perhaps the purpose is to prevent the users from receiving banner to upgrade to Office Pro Plus 2016? If yes, following steps by modifying registry could help to achieve this. Kindly help to run Regedit from windows search box to open Registry Editor. Please help to go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\ClickToRun\Updates Please locate registry key UpgradeAdvertised and change its value to 0 If perhaps this registry key cannot be found, please help to create a new one with UpgradeAdvertised as its name and enter 0 as its value. User computer may need to be restarted to make this configuration effective. Solution Opened CMD Navigated to Path - cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16\14\15 To view the installed product key, execute cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus To uninstall an installed product key, execute cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:XXXXX Replace the XXXXX with the last five character of the currently installed product key (found in step 3). Office 2013/2016 slowing your system or creating issues

1.   Open start menu and search “MSCONFIG”. Under system configuration> select, selective  startup. 2.       Go to Services in System configuration and click Hide all Microsoft services Option and click disable all. 3.       Go to Startup Tab and unchecked all 3 rd party item that was not necessary to run automatically in the system and click apply. Restart is required. 4.       Also remove all temp files from the following folder, prefetch, temp and %temp% . To open the the 3 folders, Open Run and type each time the folder name. 5.       Run Disk Clean up and Defragmentation. You can search the program in the windows if you are not familiar with the location. 6.       Search Advanced System Settings and set the Performance virtualization to low than it appear, like if shows 10000 set to 5000 and try to check again. Please note with the default value so you can revert it back when other issue occur. 7.       Open Excel, go to File > Option > Trust center

Add members to office 365 Security Group Using PowerShell and CSV

Step 1. Create a CSV file with a column “UserPrincipalName” and add all users under it who are to be added as a member of the group. Note – Sign In address need to be added under the userPrincipleName.
